Mutuals Privacy PolicyEffective Date: 4/25/26Mutuals (“Mutuals,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile app that helps users discover shared connections through their contact networks.This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how users can delete their account and data.Information We CollectAccount InformationWhen you create or use a Mutuals account, we may collect your name, phone number, home city, optional Instagram username, and app session information used to keep you signed in.We use phone-number verification to confirm your identity and secure your account.Contacts InformationIf you grant contacts permission and choose to upload your contacts, Mutuals collects contact names and phone numbers from your address book.Mutuals uses this information to show your contacts inside the app, identify which of your contacts are already Mutuals users, calculate shared connections, show second-degree connections, organize contacts and connections by city, estimate city information from phone area codes, and calculate connection scores and network insights.Mutuals does not access your contacts unless you grant permission through your device.Network And Connection DataMutuals may create network-related data from uploaded contacts, including shared connection counts, connection owners, connection scores, city-based contact groupings, contact information requests, and saved selections or rankings inside the app.Some graph matching uses hashed phone-number keys. A hash is a one-way representation of a phone number used to match contacts without relying only on raw phone numbers for internal matching. Mutuals may still store raw contact names and phone numbers where needed to provide app functionality.Contact Information RequestsIf you request another person’s contact information through Mutuals, we store information needed to process that request, including the requester, responder, subject contact, request status, and approval result.Full contact details are not automatically revealed through the contact-request feature without the required approval flow.How We Use InformationWe use collected information to create and maintain user accounts, verify phone numbers, upload and process contacts, find shared and second-degree connections, show contacts and connections by city, calculate connection scores, support contact information request flows, prevent abuse, protect app security, operate the app, debug issues, and improve Mutuals.How We Share InformationMutuals does not sell your personal information or contacts.We may share information with service providers that help us operate the app, including cloud infrastructure and database providers, phone verification/SMS providers, and app distribution/platform providers.These providers process information only as needed to provide services to Mutuals.We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of Mutuals, users, or others.Tracking And AdvertisingMutuals does not currently use third-party advertising or third-party tracking.Mutuals does not sell contact lists or use uploaded contacts for advertising.Data SecurityMutuals uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data, including server-side access controls, restricted direct database access, session validation, rate limits on sensitive backend functions, and hashed phone keys for parts of graph matching.No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but Mutuals is designed to reduce unnecessary access to user data.Data RetentionWe keep account, contact, and network data while your account remains active or as needed to provide Mutuals.If you delete your account, Mutuals deletes your profile, app sessions, uploaded contacts, saved selections, and contact-request records associated with your account, except where retention is legally required.Account DeletionYou can delete your account inside the app from the Profile page.When you delete your account, Mutuals deletes your user data from Mutuals systems as described above.Your ChoicesYou can choose whether to grant contacts permission, revoke contacts permission in your device settings, edit profile information inside the app, sign out of your account, and delete your account inside the app.If you revoke contacts permission after uploading contacts, previously uploaded contacts may remain in Mutuals until you delete your account or until Mutuals provides another removal method.ChildrenMutuals is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.Changes To This PolicyWe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Effective Date: April/26/2026These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Mutuals, including the Mutuals mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account or using Mutuals, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.If you do not agree, do not use Mutuals.1. Who We Are
Mutuals is operated by Mutuals LLC, a Florida limited liability company.Mutuals helps users discover potential social and professional connections by comparing contact information uploaded by users and identifying shared contacts, second-degree connections, city-based network insights, and connection scores.2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mutuals. If you are under the age of majority in your state or country, you may use Mutuals only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.You may not use Mutuals if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.3. Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account.You agree not to impersonate another person, create an account using false information, use another person’s phone number without permission, or attempt to access another user’s account.We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, create safety risks, or interfere with the operation of Mutuals.4. Contact Uploads and Permissions
Mutuals works by allowing users to upload contacts from their device after granting contact permission.By uploading contacts, you represent that you have lawful access to those contacts and that your use of Mutuals complies with applicable laws and these Terms.Uploaded contacts may be used to identify contacts already on Mutuals, calculate shared connections, estimate cities from area codes, rank connection scores, show network insights, and power contact-request features.Mutuals does not sell your contacts and does not use contacts for third-party advertising or tracking.5. Connection Information and Contact Requests
Mutuals may show you potential connections, shared-contact counts, city-based contact insights, and connection scores based on available network data.Mutuals does not guarantee that any suggested connection is accurate, current, complete, meaningful, or appropriate for any particular purpose.Contact information is not automatically revealed through second-degree connection results. Where Mutuals provides a contact-request feature, contact information is shared only through the app’s approval flow.You agree not to use Mutuals to harass, stalk, threaten, spam, scrape, dox, intimidate, or contact people in an abusive or unlawful way.6. Top Cities and Network Insights
Mutuals may show certain network insights, such as a user’s top contact cities, to that user’s direct contacts on Mutuals.Top Cities are estimated from uploaded contact information, area codes, and profile city information. These estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate.Users may turn off Top Cities visibility in their profile settings.7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:Use Mutuals for illegal, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or invasive purposes.
Upload contact information you obtained unlawfully.
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or bulk export Mutuals data.
Circumvent access controls, rate limits, security protections, or approval flows.
Interfere with the app, servers, databases, or other users.
Use Mutuals to build a competing database, contact graph, or social graph.
Misrepresent your identity or relationship to another person.
Violate another person’s privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other rights.

You may delete your account from inside the app.When an account is deleted, Mutuals deletes your profile, app sessions, uploaded contacts, saved selections, and contact-request records associated with your account, except where retention is legally required or technically necessary for security, fraud prevention, or compliance.10. Security
Mutuals uses technical and organizational measures designed to protect user data, including access controls and server-side validation.However, no app, database, network, or method of transmission is completely secure. You understand that use of Mutuals involves risk, including the risk of unauthorized access, service interruptions, bugs, data loss, or security incidents.11. No Warranties
Mutuals is provided “as is” and “as available.”To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mutuals disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, and security.We do not guarantee that Mutuals will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or available at all times.12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mutuals and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, reputational harm, or unauthorized access to information.To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mutuals’ total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to use Mutuals in the 12 months before the claim.Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.13. Third-Party Services
Mutuals may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, SMS verification, analytics, infrastructure, app distribution, and other operational services.We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, security incidents, terms, policies, or practices.14. Intellectual Property
Mutuals, including its name, logo, design, software, features, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by Mutuals or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Mutuals except as allowed by law or with written permission.15. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Mutuals at any time, including features, availability, eligibility, or functionality.We may also update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, or another reasonable method. Continued use of Mutuals after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.16. Termination
You may stop using Mutuals at any time.We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, misused data, or used the service unlawfully.Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including privacy-related provisions, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute provisions.17. Governing Law
